Who they have named as Tarborex

The initial prompt:
Well, I was wondering if you could make a draconequus with various reptile parts.
My favorite colors would have to be blue, black, and green. For animals, I’d say dragon because I’ve always liked their features like wings, tails, and fire breath, crocodiles because I like their scaly skin and body shape, tyrannosaurs because of their size and jaws, iguanas for their dewlaps, tails, and claws,  and tigers because I love their colors and body shape.
For environment, maybe the Everfree forest. Personality wise, he’s a gentle giant, preferring to keep to himself, and not really a man of many words. He can get pretty aggressive, but usually he’s a calm fella.
For backstory, he was born somewhere outside of Equestria to a small family of draconequi, and after reaching a coming of age, he headed off to find his own patch of land to call home. Not being one to live in civilization, he chose the Everfree forest as it was much like his birth land, and he lived there ever since, not interacting much with anypony.

Ok, so your “ new and improved ” backstory is that you’re a dragon from a more southern and tropical region of the mlp world. Though one of your relative’s  (like a parent or aunt or something) was a northern equestrian dragon, and at a young age you were able to convince them to let you tag along on the dragon migration. You decided the larger forests and more diverse climate than your tropical home was more your style and moved to equestria at a young age.

Being a subspecies of dragon outside of the more common Equestrian Dragons, your characters species has some unique attributes.

You still breathe fire and are immune to lava, as most of your kind inhabit jungle covered volcanic islands. But you aren’t as obsessed with gemstones and treasure thanks to them being a rarity in your typical environment, and are instead focused on natural resources , like the size of a territory and variety of prey

many will often take up a deity like role to mildly intelligent species of their islands. Demanding food and artsy treasures like statues and carpets and the like. So they’re more on the lazy and tyrannical side lot of the time than the more solitary northern dragons.

They’re also venomous, able to spit a burning, kinda acidy liquid when young, which when old can be replaced/mixed with volcanic magma, which they are able to eat and store in their poison pouches, and spit at ememys in a similar fashion.
But the trade off is that they take way longer to grow to a big size, as well as having the goldfish effect where if their environment cant support them then they wont grow at all.

For Tarborex, this means he’s going to stay on the small size for a dragon since he wants to focus on living in the forest, and has to stay small enough to navigate the tight spaces between the tree’s with ease.

But for others of his kind, this adds another quirk to these tropical dragons should they grow large enough, which is the ability to create new islands by swimming to the bottom of the ocean and creating volcanoes by digging through the seafloor, and maintaining the lava flow until an island is formed.

Dragons capable of such a feat are recognizable both by their large size, and their darkly colored and tougher looking scales, as with these dragons lifestyles, their scales darken with age from their bright, more tropical jungle lizard looking colors, to a color more like cooled lava and a texture more like the Galapagos island marine iguanas.

But the younger and smaller ones are still pretty adept at manipulating lava, doing things like digging channels, transporting mouthfuls of lava, and sculpting the lava for their needs as it cools.

Hence their large heads, throat pouch, and bulky front legs for digging.
